The Department of Performing Arts of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has begun their search for a tenure-track Director of Bands. The new director is expected to join the university on July 1, 2021.
To help identify key areas important to today’s incoming collegiate, the search committee engaged Music Educators across the state of Tennessee and Georgia. Additionally, UTC Band Alumni were interviewed for their insight into how best to facilitate a successful band program.
We look forward to welcoming the new Director of Bands and look forward to serving in advisory and support capacity.
